Each year the SWPDC hosts a symposium inviting all clinicians, engineers, entrepreneurs, and investors.

Our 6th Annual SWPDC Evening of Pediatric Device Innovation was held virtually on Thursday, December 3, 2020 with JLABS@TMC. Thank you to all who attended!

Featured Presentation: “Creating an Academic Ecosystem to Drive Innovation, Translation and Commercialization of Disruptive Health Care Solutions”

John Langell MD, PhD, MPH, MBA, FACS – President of Northeast Ohio Medical University and former Vice Dean of the University of Utah School of Medicine and Executive Director of the Center for Medical Innovation – presented on creating an ecosystem that promotes innovation in academic settings with the goal of future commercialization and clinical use of novel medical devices for adults and children.

A device-centered panel discussion / Q&A with Dr. Langell and SWPDC panel members followed.
